Manitoba Country Music Association

Featured Artist

The MCMA and Country’s Local featured artist of the month is Irvin Miller!! Irvin Miller recently released his debut double single and has many live shows coming up that you won’t want to miss!

At only 22, Irvin Miller is quickly emerging as one of Manitoba’s most-exciting new artists. Blending classic influences like blues, funk, country and gospel, he brings a level of songwriting maturity well beyond his years. With a soulful voice and effortless stage presence, Irvin is establishing himself as one of Western Canada’s stand-out rising talents.

Growing up, many of Miller’s favourite country artists were known for having a sound that was entirely their own – something he has always gravitated toward. That individuality continues to shape his approach to music today. No matter the song or setting, Miller strives to make everything his own, leaving audiences with a show they’ll remember.

Miller recently released his debut double single, “I’m Drunk Again” and “Horsepower.” “I’m Drunk Again” draws from the blues and the feeling of being down on your luck – when one beer turns into a long (and sometimes embarrassing) night out that many listeners can relate to.

Our Mission

That’s How I Know was produced Chris Burke-Gaffney (with the exception of one track). The album will includes the very personal “I Can’t Love You to Death,” which was inspired by her real-life experience of setting boundaries between herself and a loved one struggling with addiction. “I wasn’t going to release this song. Until I heard Charles Kelley’s personal song about being an addict. For me, music is most touching when its honest. His honesty compelled me to share this story” she says.

You’ve waited long enough… it’s finally here!
